Alican Vergin


Graduated from American Collegiate Institute, Istanbul Technical University (BSc Civil Engineering) and University of Manchester (MSc Project Management). He worked in Bechtel-Enka joint venture, as a planning engineer in Muscat International Airport Project. After his resignation, he worked on a multi-sided platform startup with Ugur Can Ekimci. He was responsible for planning, financials, business development and system design. Meanwhile he attended several courses on coursera and edx, and developed the lean-startup methodology. After acquiring the technical competence throughout the courses offered in Stanford University, Lynda, Codeschool, and Treehouse, he co-founded Formhane and developed the website. His interest in the subjects of 3d printing, design & manufacturing go back to high school when he participated in a Tubitak Solar Car Race as the only high school team in Turkey.
