Who can apply?

  • Any entrepreneur with an idea/knowledge about internet, ecommerce, mobile applications, games and software development who wishes to start his/her own startup can apply to the Etohum
  • The entrepreneurs may be studying, may have graduated or have completed their graduate level education. People / teams who have completed their education and started working but who wish to start their own companies can also apply.
  • Internet entrepreneurs who have started their own startups, launched their own products or websites can also apply.
  • Entrepreneurs can apply both as an individual and as a team.

Topics

  • Entrepreneurs with an idea / knowledge about internet, ecommerce, software development, and mobile environments can apply to Etohum.
  • During application the business plans or ideas of the applicants are not requested, however during the selection process teams/individuals will be made aware about the necessity of having a project that they want to develop and / or potential.
  • The ideas that applicants want to develop further can be about internet, games and ecommerce in the mobile environment, content development and production.
  • During the application process the resumes of the applicants along with their answers to various questions related to the understanding of their knowledge/interest about internet and mobile environments will be requested.

2011 – 2012 Application Process

  • The selection process of Etohum will continue between August – December, 2011.
  • Etohum meetings and camps will be organized during August – December primarily in Istanbul but also in Ankara and Izmir.
  • Following the internet applications the selection of the proper candidates will continue with one to one interviews, phone/video conferences, e-mail and other means of communication.
  • In January, 2012 the shortlisted Etohum 40 applicants will be selected and they will be informed.
  • On January 7, 2012 communication with investors training will be given to the Etohum 40 ventures.
  • Etohum 40 candidates will make their short presentations to angel investors over the weekend of January 14 – 15.
  • Etohum 15 internet ventures will be announced on January 28th, Saturday.
  • Etohum Antalya Investor – Entrepreneur camp will be organized during February 15 – 19, 2012 with the participation of the Etohum ventures of both the current and the previous year.
